Divine Sister of UMOJA Women Ministry
Mission Statement
Our mission as Christian group of women is to:
1. Plan and build all that we upon the word of God. (Ephesians 4: 12-13)
2. All that we do will be done out of love and for the uplifting of one another. (Ephesians
4:29; Galatians 5: 13-15)
3. We will seek to provide an atmosphere of unity by being all inclusive. (Ephesians) 4: 2-3)
4. In order to reach our goals, we must equip ourselves to recognize and be ready to stand
against that which seeks to destroy us by studying and applying the word of God in our daily
lives. ( Ephesians 6: 10-18; II Corinthians 10: 3-5)
5. We will seek to spiritually educate ourselves to deal with and endure all matters that
affect our lives Spiritually, Socially, Economically and Mentally. ( Proverbs 2:6; v9-11; 4:7; 9: 10;
James 1: 2-44; v12)
6. Our ultimate mission is to bring the unsaved into the knowledge, understanding and
acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (Acts 4:12; Romans 10: 9; James 4: 7-8;
5: 19-20)

Our goal is to create an atmosphere where the women of UMOJA as well as those who aren’t,
are able to come and experience the Love that God has required for us to exhibit one to another.
We want to know, love , trust and respect each other and genuinely befriend one another.
In the process of our efforts we want ti Give God the glory he deserves, and have fun in the
process.
We will strive to leave a positive legacy that can be carried on by those who will come after us
until the return of our Lord and Savior.
